Promoting a location-based strategy running game
Run An Empire is a location-based strategy game for runners and walkers.
Using just your phone, you can walk or run to capture real-world places and compete against your neighbours with every step you take. The game is designed to fit into existing exercise routines, giving players an extra incentive to get moving.
My role
As a side project, I supported the very creative team at PAN Studio with running comms and social for the game's early days. This included planning and helping to execute successful crowdfunding campaigns, producing content around the experience, orchestrating a test launch in New Zealand, managing the player community and looking after most owned channels.
